Hello blogspot it's been a long time since I came here / blog and now the journey has begun again. But this time is storyboarding & project pitching journey.
First thing first, Mr.Ronald showed us a couple of animatics video so that we get some ideas on what good animatics look like and we took note of what makes a good animatics. I like both of the animatics especially 'Joust' it almost look like it's final the final one.
And after that we formed our group :-Raymond
-Jing Yuan
-Apple (Yan Ping)
-Joel
-Me (Rachael)
And we got our project brief. We're suppose to do create a music video storyboard and animatics on this song titled 'Coward of a County' by Kenny Rogers. Interesting song even though I'm not really a big fan of country music.
When I first listened to the music I didn't really paid attention to the lyrics. I was just listening to the melody and at first I thought it was a 'happy' song. However after I read the lyrics then I realised it wasn't really a 'happy' song it was more of drama type.
We didn't really do much today since we just got the assignment brief. But we still did something, we watched quite a few videos and tried getting inspiration. I thought of doing something like 'Juno' introduction. It's a simple but at the same time enjoyable.
We're still at the midst of searching for videos/things to inspire our creative little minds and hoped that tomorrow everyone will come up of something that is WOW!
